What a Research Study Found
A randomized controlled clinical trial published in Medical Gas Research in 2026 studied 66 adults with sleep problems who inhaled either a control gas or a hydrogen-oxygen mixture for seven days.
The hydrogen-oxygen group experienced:

- Higher sleep efficiency
- Less time awake during the night
- Improved sleep-quality scores
