Echo Refresh delivers 1,200 mL/min of actual hydrogen at its top setting, with 600 mL/min of oxygen alongside it from the same reaction — clean 2:1 stoichiometry, for a combined gas output of 1,800 mL/min. At $3,599, the HYD-1800 delivers that same 1,200 mL/min of hydrogen for $2,400 less. The HYD-3000 delivers nearly double Echo’s hydrogen output for $1,500 less than Echo’s sale price.
Two contradictions still in their own manual
Fixed or adjustable? Step 3 of Echo Refresh’s setup guide states flatly: “Flow level is fixed at 1800 mL/min and cannot be adjusted.” Later in the same manual, an FAQ section titled “Why Are Different Flow Levels Used?” describes three selectable settings — Low, Medium, and High — and recommends the middle setting for most home users as “the most comfortable experience.” Both statements are in the same document, about the same machine.
One user or two? Echo Refresh’s product page markets a dedicated second hydrogen port specifically so “two people can run a session side by side without splitting the dose in half.” Their own manual’s FAQ says the opposite: “The Echo Refresh is designed for optimal performance with one user at a time… single-user sessions are recommended.” We’re not asserting which statement is correct — we’re pointing out that they don’t agree with each other, and that’s worth knowing before you buy a machine specifically for its two-person claim.
A warranty that’s honest about being pro-rated — worth reading past the “10 years”
To Echo’s credit, their current warranty page states plainly that this is a pro-rated warranty — no hedge, no fine print doing the work. But “10-year warranty” and “10 years of what you’d expect from a warranty” aren’t the same thing:

Full, no-cost coverage lasts 2 years of the advertised 10. From year 3 on, a repair means a diagnostic fee, hourly labor, and a shrinking parts discount — real costs, clearly disclosed, but a different thing than “covered for 10 years.” Our HYD-1800 and HYD-3000 carry a 3-year warranty with full parts-and-labor coverage for the entire term — one year longer than Echo’s actual full-coverage period, with nothing prorated in between.
What We Don’t Claim
Hydrogen is an interesting molecule and an active area of research. It is not a treatment for any disease, and anyone telling you otherwise is either uninformed or hoping you are.
We won’t tell you hydrogen cures, treats, or prevents any condition. We won’t share testimonials or anecdotes implying it did. We won’t present preliminary studies as settled science, or animal research as though it were human research.
We will tell you that molecular hydrogen is being studied for its role in the body’s antioxidant and inflammatory response pathways, and that much of that research remains early. We’ll point you to the Molecular Hydrogen Institute and other trusted sources and let you read the literature yourself.
If you want claims, there are people who will make them. If you want a straight answer about what a machine does and what the evidence supports, book a call.
The comparison we’d want you to make
- How many mL per minute of hydrogen — not total gas — and can they show the math?
- What is the cost per mL/min of hydrogen?
- Does the flow rate, and the number of users it supports, say the same thing everywhere in their own materials?
- What does “X-year warranty” actually cover in year 3, year 5, year 8 — not just year 1?
- Can I use it and still return it, and what does that actually cost?
And do this before buying anything: search the exact specifications — not the brand name or who promotes it. Do it for ours too. We’d rather you bought knowing exactly what else exists with those specs than bought on our word alone.
