WELCOME ABOARD

Let’s Get Your Generator Set Up

Thank you for choosing Revive Hydrogen. Your generator is a professional-grade piece of equipment, and it is genuinely straightforward to run once you have seen it done once.

Everything you need is on this page: a personal walkthrough with me, the setup video, your manual, and answers to the questions new owners ask in the first week.

QUICK START

The Short Version

1Place the unit on a flat, stable surface, 8–12 in (20–30 cm) clear of walls and objects, away from heat and direct sunlight.
2With the unit off and unplugged, fill the tank with distilled or purified water only (TDS 5 or below) up to the MAX line. Add slowly — do not overfill.
3First-time priming, required once: after filling, wait 5 minutes, remove the drainage plug at the bottom, let water drain for 15 seconds, then reinstall the plug securely.
4Plug in, switch on the main power at the back, then set your flow rate and session time on the control panel and press Start.
5Let the machine run for about one minute to stabilize output, then attach a fresh nasal cannula, sit comfortably, and breathe normally.
6When the session ends, press Stop, switch off the power, and unplug. Leave the water in the tank — the electrolyzer should not be allowed to dry out.

This is a summary, not a substitute for the manual. Please read the full safety and operating sections before your first session.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Using Your Machine

Sessions

How long should a session be?

A typical session is 30 to 60 minutes. The control panel lets you set anything from 30 minutes up to 480, but most owners settle into the 30–60 minute range and build it into something they were doing anyway — reading, working, or winding down in the evening.

How often should I use it?

There is no fixed schedule. Some owners make it a daily routine, others use it a few times a week. Start with one session, see how it fits your day, and adjust from there. Consistency tends to matter more than duration.

Which flow rate should I choose?

Each model offers three settings. The lower setting (900 mL/min on the HYD-1500 and HYD-1800) delivers an inhaled hydrogen concentration in the range most commonly used in the published research, so it is a sensible place to start. Higher settings deliver more gas per minute, which is useful for shorter sessions and for two people using the unit at once.

We will walk through this on your orientation call and match it to how you plan to use the machine.

Can two people use it at the same time?

Yes. The unit has dual outlets, and each person uses their own nasal cannula. Output is split between users — on the HYD-3000, that means up to 1,000 mL/min of hydrogen per person in dual-user mode.

Never share a cannula between people. Use a fresh one for each user.

What is the Y-type connector for?

The included Y-type connector combines the hydrogen and oxygen outlets into a single line, which is how you would run oxyhydrogen (sometimes called Brown’s Gas). This is a supported configuration on all three models — it is covered in the manual, not a workaround.

Can I leave it running all day?

Do not run the machine for more than 10 hours continuously. After a long run, switch it off and let it cool for at least one hour before restarting.

If the nasal cannula starts to feel warm, that is the unit telling you it has been working a long while. Shut down for an hour and let it cool.

Water & Water Quality

What kind of water do I use?

Distilled or purified water only, at TDS 5 or below. Never use tap water, mineral water, spring water, or filtered tap water. Minerals and impurities foul the electrolyzer, and that damage is not a warranty repair.

Gallon jugs of distilled water from any grocery store are exactly right. Keep a couple on hand.

How often do I drain and refill the tank?

Every 60 hours of accumulated use, or every month — whichever comes first. Drain and refill immediately any time the TDS indicator activates, regardless of the schedule.

The hours counter on the display is cumulative and does not reset. Note the reading when you change the water, add 60, and write down that number so you know when the next change is due.

The TDS / water quality light came on. What do I do?

The machine will stop until the water is changed. Open the drain port and empty the tank, add distilled water, drain again, and circulate once. Then close the drain port and refill with distilled water until the light goes out.

If it comes back on within a few days, the water source is the likely cause — confirm you are using distilled water at TDS 5 or below, then email us.

What about the humidification bottles?

Empty and refill them with fresh distilled water regularly — daily if more than one person is using the machine. They are separate from the main tank and are easy to forget.

Do I empty it if I am away for a while?

No. For storage, unplug the unit but leave the water in the tank — the electrolyzer should not be allowed to dry out. Drain and refill with fresh distilled water before returning it to use.

The one exception is transport: drain the tank fully before moving the machine.

What is the UV-C light in the tank?

The 6-liter tank includes integrated UV-C treatment that helps keep the water clean between changes. It supplements the drain-and-refill schedule; it does not replace it.

Do not attempt to view, remove, or bypass the UV-C source — it can cause eye and skin injury. Only run the unit with the water tank cover closed.

Care & Troubleshooting

How do I clean it?

Always unplug first. Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth, or a slightly damp one for heavier dirt. No detergents, no sprays, no abrasives, and never spray liquid onto the unit or immerse any part of it.

How often do I replace the nasal cannula?

Cannulas are single-user items. Replace regularly, and use a fresh one for every additional person. Your generator ships with four; more are inexpensive and easy to reorder — just email us.

I hear a faint crackling sound during use.

That is static electricity and it is normal. What is not normal is unusual noise, smell, or smoke — if you get any of those, switch off immediately, unplug, and contact us before using the machine again.

An indicator light or error code came on.

The manual has a full troubleshooting table covering every indicator: low water, water full, TDS, unbalanced, overheat, and the E7 probe error, along with what to do for each. Most are self-clearing once the underlying condition is corrected.

If a code persists after you have worked through the table, email us with the model, the code, and a photo of the display and we will take it from there.

What does the warranty cover?

Three years against defects in materials and workmanship. Keep your proof of purchase, and keep a record of your water changes — usage history is the first thing asked for on any warranty question.

Most issues are diagnosed remotely by email, photo, or video. The modular internal design means a replacement part can usually be shipped out with a simple swap on your end, no return shipping needed.

Should I check with my doctor first?

Hydrogen inhalation is offered as a general wellness product. The equipment is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

The manual advises that people with weakness, poor physical fitness, or breathing difficulties consult a doctor before use. If you have a health condition or are pregnant, please talk to your physician first. Keep the machine out of reach of children and pets; children should only use it under adult supervision.
